Covering oils for wave soldering
BECE COVOPEX OIL 608HT
BECE COVOPEX OIL 608HT has been specifically developed as a cover oil or protective oil for lead-free and leaded wave soldering processes. It protects metal alloys from oxidation caused by oxygen, thereby preventing the formation of powdery oxide layers around rotating pump shafts.
BECE COVOPEX OIL 608HT offers excellent thermal stability and typically does not lead to hard crusts or the buildup of viscous sludge. Compared to conventional products, such as waxes or mineral oil-based oils, it achieves significantly longer oil service lives. This greatly reduces the maintenance and cleaning requirements for wave soldering systems.
KEY PRODUCT ADVANTAGES
- Excellent protection of solder against oxidation
- Lubricating effect on pump shafts
- Long oil service life, significantly reducing maintenance and cleaning efforts
- No unpleasant odor nuisance
- 100% water-soluble, allowing machines and workpieces to be easily cleaned with water
BECE SCO 107HT
BECE SolderCoveringOil 107HT has been specifically developed as a cover oil for lead-free and leaded solders in solder tanks, such as those used in Kirsten-Soldering’s Jet Wave systems. It protects metal alloys from oxidation caused by oxygen, significantly reducing dross formation on the solder.
BECE SCO 107HT offers excellent thermal stability, enabling service lives of up to 800 working hours without the buildup of viscous sludge or hard crusts. This significantly reduces the maintenance and cleaning efforts required for soldering systems.
BECE SCO 107HT is 100% water-soluble and resistant to water hardness due to its non-ionic structure. Machines and workpieces can be easily cleaned with water.
